Could any one who can help on identification of date palm insect pest with attached photos ? this insect species was collected on date palm at Rach Gia city of Kien Giang province of Vietnam. The larva feeds inside the leaf of date palm.
Thank you in advance and I look forward to hearing from you all soon.

A message from Chris Reid:
Cassidinae: ‘Hispini’. There's a key to these for Vietnam if Dr Tu can get hold of it:
Kimoto, S. 1999. Chrysomelidae of Thailand, Cambodia, Laos & Vietnam. VI. Hispinae. Bulletin of the Institute of Comparative Studies of International Cultures and Societies 23: 59-159.
From the key it looks like Micrispa or Agonita but of course it might be new or an exotic to the area. It doesn't appear to be either of the main oil palm/date palm pests: Javeta or Coenomaenodera (but I'm not an expert on this group).
